If you are going to issue a 1.7 million unit recall, please make sure your recall website is working before closing for the day. And if you can't get your website to work, please have more operators working. The announcement that the "high call volume is creating a long hold time" was appreciated, although expected. And the part of the announcement about visiting your website for help instead of holding doesn't help if your website isn't working.
Guess I'll sit on hold. At least you have fun music.

I'm sorry to had to wait forever. When I heard about this I checked the site because we remodeled our kitchen 2 years ago & got all new appliances from my brother at Maytag. But mine weren't the actual Maytag brand. I got lucky & missed that recall.
ReplyDeleteDid you find this site? https://repair.maytag.com/prjjck10/default.jsp There were other brands that are made by Maytag that were included. Turns out the heating element at the bottom overheats and melts the plastic inside of the dishwasher and can start a fire.
ReplyDeleteOur dishwasher is all better (finally). Now I just have to get the kids back to using it! :)
