For the month of September, I'm joining a group of other wonderful people trying to eat healthier and plan ahead all led by the Healthy Eats crew at Food Network. They'll be gathering tips, recipes, menus, lunch box/lunch containers and advice from nutritionists and other lunch-packing pros just to share with us!
Each weekday this month, I'll be "brown-bagging it." I usually bring my lunch to work, so that part isn't new. My challenge will be variety and nutrition as I'm currently stuck in a PB&J rut (with butter -- thankyouverymuch). It's easy, doesn't require much thought in the morning, and it's tasty (the first few days). Problem is, it's not entirely filling. I'm looking for ideas, and this comes at a great time! We might even get some ideas for the kiddos' lunches!
I'd love for you to come along with me and learn some fun new ways to "brown-bag" your lunch! And please share below of your lunch habits!

A note from Healthy Eats:
We’re teaming up with fellow food bloggers to host a Brown-Bag Challenge, a month-long initiative to eat consciously and save money by packing a lunch each weekday instead of eating out. Join us here and share what you're eating on Facebook and Twitter with the hashtag #brownbag.
