Trusting God: A Girlfriends in God Faith Adventure
By Sharon Jaynes, Gwen Smith, Mary Southerland

Our family is going through a season of learning to trust more and growing our faith. So, when I saw the opportunity to review The Girlfriends in God's book Trusting God, I jumped at the opportunity, and I was not disappointed. This book is a series of devotions, similar to their emailed devotions, that all center around faith and trust. Each day starts with a central verse. Then there is a story from on of the Girlfriends, and a closing prayer. It is great to use on your own, or you can use it with a group. The book is structured in weeks of 6 devotions, and at the end of each 6 there are a couple pages of reflection questions and room to journal. I was reading it on my own (not part of a group) and the readings are quick enough that I started reading through a week's worth at a time. Although, spending the time to think about each reading for a day would be helpful to get the full meaning of what God wants you to hear from each reading. This is a great Bible study to help each of us in our faith and trust adventure.
