On a hot day, do you prefer the ocean, the lake, or the pool?
As I sit here with VERY peeling shoulders from a beach sunburn last weekend, I have to say that I love living near the ocean. I would not be able to live without an ocean nearby. Not that we go often, but I like it being there and being able to smell the salt water when the breeze is right. It does take us 30-45 minutes to get there, and then there's parking and empty beach space to find, so we don't go as often as I'd like. I love sitting and looking at the water, and we just learned boogie boarding a couple of years ago. However, I'm all over a pool, too. I like seeing my feet and knowing there aren't any fish coming after me. ;)

ReplyDeleteOoo I'm so jealous. When my husband finishes his degree, we want to move to Florida for a few years. We want to live near the beach just not on the beach, just like you!

The ocean is absolutely wonderful if you can get it...but we can't all be so lucky :(
ReplyDeleteOh I loved your response about the fish getting you. That is so true when you are in the ocean for sure. Plus the rocks or shells that may get your feet. It is a nice place to be. We go to the pool. Have a great day. Stopping by from the party..
